Rural Organisation For Social Elevation

Even after decades of independence, persons with disabilities continue to be among the most marginalized sections of society. One of the biggest challenges faced by policy planners and implementing agencies is providing rehabilitation services to unreached persons with disabilities living in both rural and urban areas. Although significant efforts have been made in this regard, the benefits have still not reached all. The existing provisions do not provide adequate scope and opportunity to every individual according to their specific needs. 'Service to mankind is service to God' - keeping this principle in mind, the Rural Organization for Social Elevation (ROSE) was established in the year 1996-97.
